Christa Greene
Christa completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU). She initially worked for NCDOT in the areas of NEPA Planning, Traffic Engineering, and Training & Development. After having children, she began consulting so she could balance raising a family and her professional career. Eventually, she started her own firm where she focused on Traffic Impact, Corridor Access, and Safe Routes to Schools Studies. In 2011 she took a position with Stantec where she is currently a Senior Principal that serves as a Practice Leader for the Carolinas and Georgia as well as the Raleigh Office Leader.
Christa has been a part of ITE since joining as a student at NCSU in 1986. She has served in various roles in NCSITE, SDITE, and ITE. In addition to her role as SDITE President, she is also a Vice Chair of the ITE Traffic Engineering Council and one of the LAC Chairs for the 2024 SDITE Annual Meeting in Wilmington, NC.
