Chris Kirby
Chris Kirby works for CDM Smith as a Professional Engineer and Principal in Tennessee. Chris’s background includes engineering analysis/design and project management experience and achievements since 1994. He has served in a diversity of project engineering and leadership roles for state and local government, consulting companies, transportation companies, and research facilities. Chris is a two-time graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Transportation Engineering. He is a past president of the Tennessee Section Institute of Transportation Engineers (TSITE), former Chairperson of the Southern District ITE Member Services Committee, former Chairperson for the Southern District ITE Leadership Development Committee, and joined the Southern District Executive Committee in 2023. Chris is an avid tennis player and has been actively involved with Boy Scouts over the years. He is married to Nancy and has three great kids Zach, Sam, and Ella.
