Student Chapters

The Southern District is proud to include over 20 Student Chapters in our nine states. While the size and activity level of each student chapter varies, we embrace each one. We strongly encourage and support student involvement through scholarships, paper competitions, student chapter competitions, and travel opportunities. We know that students are prospective peers in ITE and the transportation engineering profession so we promote student activity – we want good students because they make great professionals! One of the most exciting things to see in the Southern District is former student members who are currently active professional members.
